hello there,
This is Chearmin, she's an 19yo girl happily breathing Singapore's air. She is now studying Diploma in Visual Communication (which is NOT Mass Comm), a course all about graphic design, illustrations & photography. A crazy cat lady who adores cats (duh.), her eyes glimmer upon spotting beautiful things e.g. cameras & vintage items. & she definitely loves Jesus. † she absolutely love getting crafty & all, because it makes her happy. she wants to get lost in a surreal world and be eaten by her eccentric thoughts. would you care to join her for a cup of tea in the middle of the forest?

  Selamat datang!
So sorry for the sudden MIA! I was working for the past few days. Let me recount what I have done over the past few days!

Sunday:

I had a great day! I met up with Toni to return him his 50mm lens (noooooo I will miss that lens )': ) then head off to Cat Socrates to get some stuff... and LITTLE THING MAGAZINE!

Btw, if you haven't heard of it, YOU MUST HEAR OF IT NOW!
little thing Magazine is written in Chinese since it's from a China-chinese publication (sorry for those whose Chinese Language sucks), and it features different kinds of vintage things in every issue.
For example, the latest issue, issue 25, aka the 4th Anniversary issue (yay clap clap), features all about candies. History of candy stores, some vintage candy-inspired clothes & accessories, vintage candy jars, etc.

Here's a peek at the lovely eyegasmic cover!
So Candylicious!

More photos on the insides... *hold your breath!*

Above: The unique pop-up piece! IT'S ALL DIFFERENT EVERY ISSUE!

4th Anniversary gift box edition goodies and specially made & sold merch! Look at the beautiful silk scarf *drools*

Gotta love the magazine.

Next up...
Visited my ex-tutor's house! Every year their family invites mine to their house for Hari Raya housewarming. It's so sweet of them, really. :')
This year, they decided to order catering food! So I had no chance to try their nice homecooked dishes (aww).

All orangey, 'cos of the curry. Hot (IMO since I can't really take spicy food well) but still good!

I love this teacup they used to hold the cocktail dessert! ♥

Basically, my Sunday was spent like that! It was a simple but awesome day.

Monday - Wed:

Work. work. WORK
Nevertheless, I had fun interacting with my colleagues, getting to know more about new colleagues (who came while I stopped work during the last month or so), etc. Since things have changed so much (long story), I pretty much have to re-learn most of the things.

Working in another branch on Wed was a good and fresh experience for me! That branch's weekday crowd is 2 to 3 times more than the weekend crowd of the branch I usually work in! I literally served straight for 2 hours once the peak period arrived. However, it allows me to improve in my working speed & accuracy. Not bad, I must say.

Thurs:

& so the awesome lucky day is here! It's the 6th, which spells... my 23rd month together with my dearest baby! He has been such a good bud, is the funniest dude ever IMO, an awesome punching bag (haha oops), the loveliest boyfriend & the most committed husband ever! :) What more can I ask for?

We decided to do a Journey to the West (literally, lol). We headed to West Coast Park (WCP) for the date, since I have been whining to go there (it's my fave childhood place, I love the adventure playground) and we wanted to see how much it has changed ever since my childhood days.

Thank God we didn't get lost! Hallelujah :) We got to WCP safely and had lots of fun. Only turn off was the major-FAIL fountain (wtf, it was more like muddy water bopping happily thinking it was a beautiful fountain) and the missing bird sanctuary. I guess the park map wasn't updated to the changes in the park...

I think I'm talking really a lot, and must be annoying you like "this girl is crapping so much just stfu". So let the pictures do the talking!

some weird flower we saw... Baby came up with a theory that it'll attack by shooting its anthers out and using them to grab its prey.

So tempted to photoshop this to "Marshmallow Garden".

Looks like an apple being cut into half.

Really lovely colour combo

Thanks to baby for the mocha frappe! ♥ Finally got my caffeine fix!

Hopefully I'll survive through tomorrow's major option briefing!
