hello there,
This is Chearmin, she's an 19yo girl happily breathing Singapore's air. She is now studying Diploma in Visual Communication (which is NOT Mass Comm), a course all about graphic design, illustrations & photography. A crazy cat lady who adores cats (duh.), her eyes glimmer upon spotting beautiful things e.g. cameras & vintage items. & she definitely loves Jesus. † she absolutely love getting crafty & all, because it makes her happy. she wants to get lost in a surreal world and be eaten by her eccentric thoughts. would you care to join her for a cup of tea in the middle of the forest?

a line of unexpected gastronomical events.
Work these few days have been rather alright! I get to enjoy bubble teas during work (thanks to kind colleagues who offer to treat everyone in the store), and get to Instagram rather well-arranged and good-tasting desserts nearby our work area, just the street opposite the mall.

Today was a great day - I had a rather good sleep, got to spend time with my dearest dude, and definitely got my buds and tummy satisfied for their cravings for good food!
I am such a sucker for good food.

Visited Ah Loy Thai at Tampines Mall thanks to Desmond's recommendation (Manhattan was initially on our list for the meal, but... our minds changed. Haha!), and damn, that was the best Thai cuisine I ever had so far!

The butter squids were really good and had a really strong buttery goodness, but I unfortunately got kinda sick of the strong taste. I managed to finish the leftover squids though! ;) * applauds*

The Pandan chicken was sooooooooo good. The pandan wrapped taste was there, and the chicken was grilled to near perfect crispness and tenderness within. It was the best dish on the table, imo.

The Basil leaves stirred fried chicken was good too, but a lil' too spicy to my endurance. In the end I couldn't eat much of it 'cos I really couldn't tolerate the spiciness. :(

Last but not least, THEY HAVE GOOD MILK TEA. Like, seriously. :)
Give this store a try if you're feeling a little rich! My meal was about $15 in total after splitting costs with my dearest.
P/S: Their rice portion is really bigger than that of normal bowl's rice outside... so, yeah. You get full easily due to the carbo.

Till then!
